Lovely 18th.c. Welsh oak box settle c.1760. Low backrest with four raised and fielded panels and a moulded top rail. Shaped arms raised on unusual bobbin turned supports, over a lift-up seat with iron hinges and a thumb moulded edge. Useful storage inside for shoes, linens etc. Panelled front, sides and rear to the base. Earlier repairs and restorations to the floorboards and feet, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
