18thC Primitive Elm Pig Bench Coffee Table
A superb 18thC Welsh Elm pig bench of sturdy primitive construction. Solid and stable with the most wonderfully figured timber and tactile surface.
Original throughout and in excellent condition with gorgeous gentle wear. This particular example being far nicer than usual, with beautifully shaped leg braces and tidy proportions this exceptional example would look great in a modern house, minimalist flat, coffee shop or high end retail outlet as much as it would a traditional farmhouse or country cottage.
Forever popular with interior designers and country stylists these make the most decorative and practical Coffee Tables.
These are always quite rightly sought after items, pig benches usually being of pine, to have a superior timbered elm example with such beautiful colour is very special indeed.
