18th Century Antique Painted Pine Welsh Dresser.
A very good example of an antique Welsh dresser, in the original 18th century paint finish.
Originally from the Conway Valley in North Wales and dating from around 1780.
Made in solid yellow pine with the period cream paint finish, the backboards are an original green paint.
A lovely size for a kitchen dresser with six working drawers and two spacious cupboards, which feature applied shaped panels.
Both ends are panelled and this antique Welsh dresser base stands on bracket feet.
All the handles are beautiful turned fruitwood wooden knobs, these being a 19th Century replacement of original brass handles.
In very good, solid condition, suitable for daily use.
