This beautiful 18th century gentleman\'s figured walnut knee-length desk features a cross banded top with herring bone inlaid decoration. The desk has one long top drawer with a kneehole cupboard and three smaller drawers to each side all with herring bone cross banded decoration. It has the original lock and key and is finished with ornately pierced brass handles. The desk measures 37 in – 94 cm wide, 21 ½ in – 54.6 cm deep and 28 ½ in – 72.4 cm in height. This very handsome and stunning desk would make a fabulous decorator’s piece for a wide range of rooms and decors. Thomas Crabb Antiques was founded in 1979 and is run by Stephen Roy Thomas.
