17thc West Country coffer, typical carved form, good colour. Original hinges, panelled back, plank top. Circa 1680.
In as found, unrestored condition. Crack to the wood above the lock, also loose. The lock inside is loose. Signs of old worm to the styles. The back styles are slightly shorter so it leans a little but enough height left in them.
Approx. 43.5" wide x 18.75" deep x 27" high.
