Writing Desk
Fine quality mahogany secretaire desk, french and dated about c 1880. This delightful antique desk is delicately inlaid with marquetry, has a fitted marble top and various ormolu mounts. The colour is mid mahogany with a mellow antique patination. There are 5 smoothly running drawers and the inlaid centre panel is a drop down writing surface with internal stationary drawers and compartments. There is a working key. Shown here in top showroom condition, having been checked, cleaned and wax polished, this lovely desk is ready for use. Prompt delivery can be arranged.
