Here we have an outstanding pair of early Victorian Rosewood pier cabinets c1840. As you can see the cabinets have great colour and patina. There are beautiful shaped tops with round corners to hold the pillars. The edges are inlaid with Satinwood which is replicated on the doors and drawer fronts and edges. There are very finely carved pillars to the sides and wonderful original glass to the doors. There are single drawers to the top with Oak linings and handcut dovetail joints. There are plinth bases with well turned and shaped bases to the pillars. There are working original locks and keys and internally there is a base shelf and a middle shelf. A super pair of cabinets of outstanding quality in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 86 cm high 47 cm wide 22 cm deep.
