This is a supberb, top quality, solid English oak dining table and chairs (4 chairs plus 2 carvers). The table measures c. 75cm x 168cm and stands 79cm tall. The carver width is 53cm. All of the chairs are in good order, solid, with a dark leather which has softened perfectly over the years. The table, with a refrectory top as aged beautifully to produce a fabulous centre piece for any kitchen or dining area. It dates to c.1940 and stands on 2 bulbous turned legs.
Wood Brothers of Ware started c. 1924, producing "Old Charm" Tudor styled solid oak antique furniture - this is a superb example.
