In absolutely beautiful condition, this gorgeous German WMF pepper mill / grinder is a delight! - Standing c.3" inch (8cm) tall , with a base diameter of 1.7/8" (4.5cm) - it is so well made, a real quality item from the respected German manufacturer WMF It is appropriately stamped to the edge. Possibly originally silver plated, but the brass patina is very attractive, all in excellent order with the top removing - the glass is very attractive blown and delicately ridged giving the impression of swirlying glass - very nice!. I believe it to be early 1900's it is very Art Nouveau in appearance. The mechanism is turning true - In such good condition and so difficult to find in this good order.
