William IV chiffonier with hidden drawers
Unusual and lovely quality William IV mahogany chiffonier, circa 1830.
This piece has two hidden document slide drawers on the front corners as you can see if the photos and a deep central drawer too. Below there is the two door cupboard space which has a single shelf, although it is adjustable.
Unusual to have the marble top which is supported by the two brass columns.
Fabulous quality, although it isn't stamped, it certainly is the quality of a GILLOWS piece.
Good condition and a beautiful colour too.
Measuring:
52 1/2” or 133cm high
31” or 79cm wide
16 1/2” or 42cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
