Wemyss Pottery Cabbage Roses Cat c1930’s
Large wemyss cat beautifully painted with cabbage roses.
The cat is in excellent condition and is heavily painted with large cabbage which were probably done by Carl Nikolai judging by the quality of the painting and the area covered.
Other than some light crazing commensurate for its age (late 1920’s - early 1930’s) It is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration.
It is 12.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide and has the wemyss mark on the base.
A beautiful cat which are very hard to find.
All jewellery will come in an appropriate gift box.
I have been selling Scandinavian jewellery for over twenty years and specialise in David Anderson enameled ware, please contact me if you are looking for a particular piece or to see what I have in stock.
