Welsh, Wool, House Sampler Dated 1871
Worked by 21 year old Rosina Williams in 1871, in coloured wools on a dark wool ground which, unusually, covers the entire sampler, the dominant feature is the house which takes centre stage.
The absence of any text allows for the addition of numerous birds, a pair of cats seated on cushions, a pair of cockerels, three pairs of urns containing stylised flowers and a striking depiction of Adam and Eve and the serpent entwined in the tree of life. In the rare case that you wish to return an item, we need notification within 48 hours of delivery. We will then refund the cost of the item back to you in full, less transport costs involved. The item must then be delivered back to our showroom within 14 days in the exact same condition as it left us.
STORAGE
Should an item not be ready for immediate delivery, we are able to hold stock at our shop in Cowbridge. Items may be subject to a storage fee where applicable.
