Early 19th.c. oak Welsh dresser base, South Wales c.1810. Broad single plank top with a rounded edge over three drawers with cockbeaded drawer fronts with turned rosewood knobs with mother of pearl inlaid centres. Straight apron with a simple applied moulding raised on four well turned baluster legs at the front and six deal panels across the back. Over a useful open potboard display shelf raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Some old mark and repairs to the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
