Welsh oak Press Cupboard
We had to travel deep into the west country to rescue this lovely piece of Welsh antique furniture, it began its life in Cardiganshire and for now it lives with us in Cowbridge.
A wonderfully useful piece, a generous 2 door cupboard with 5 drawers. Plenty of storage.
The cupboard has quite a few points that are worth noting, good canted angles, the panels are especially good, not only ogee shaped but fielded and crisply carved.
The large, bold bracket feet are original.
An honest and practical piece.
