A exceptional Welsh fruitwood carved love spoon of good colour and patination. With a well formed bowl leading to a lantern carved handle, glazed with two trapped balls and pierced heart to a leaf shaped terminal. There is a recessed square bearing owners initials on paper that would have been covered with a small glazed window, now missing. Early 19th century. 22 cm long.
