Waring and Gillows Mahogany Open Bookcase
Circa 1910, Edwardian Adams style mahogany open bookcase, made by the famous cabinet making firm of Waring and Gillows. The bookcase has fluted pilasters, a fluted frieze with carved oval paterae and carved garland. With 3 adjustable shelves with fluted fronts, the piece stands on tapered supports on a small plinth. It is an excellent example of Gillows’ quality, and in perfect condition.
