Wardrobe clothes press pantry dresser GeorgeII Oak
Here we have a wonderful George II Oak clothes press c1750. As you can see this is as good as its gets for colour and patination. This useful piece of antique furniture could be used in the bedroom, hall, sitting room or kitchen. There is a moulded pediment to the top with chequered string. The two doors have super fielded panels with arched and shaped tops. There is an origional working lock and key. This press has been in the same family for 250 + years and along with a chest of drawers I have for sale came from the same Norfolk house. The press as you would expect is of pegged mortice and tenon construction. The base has a configuartion of two over two drawers with super brass handles and original bracket feet. A stunning period Oak piece in fantastic retail condition of small proportions ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 72 inches high 46 wide 20 deep.
