Small mid 19th.c. walnut Wellington chest c.1870. Just 19″ wide with seven drawers of graduated depth, ideal for accessories and filing (big enough for sheets of A4 paper), held closed with the hinged and lockable right hand pilaster. Well figured walnut veneers, carved corbels and turned hardwood knobs. Original paper label in the bottom drawer for Solomon’s Office & household antique furniture warehouse of Victoria Street, London. Obvious old wear and repairs to the top, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
