Handsome well-proportioned walnut knee hole desk having an arrangement of one long drawer over 6 smaller drawers. All drawers are oak lined with brass hardware. There is a concealed drawer and small cupboard within the knee hole which has working lock and key. Decorated with satin and ebony inlay in a checker pattern. It is covered in stunning burr and figured walnut veneers that show wonderful patina. In excellent condition with only historic marks etc as is to be expected on a item of it's age however these only add to the character and charm of this very functional antique desk . It is a wonderful colour with amazing graining and will look perfect in any home or office.
