Late 19th.c. walnut and parcel gilt duet piano stool or window seat c.1890. Padded seat lifting to reveal storage space below. Walnut frame with reeded rails to all four sides, an unusual row of long turned spindles to the sides and rear and turned and reeded legs. Note how the moulded and turned detail are highlighted in gold. Very good condition, seat pad freshly recovered in a pale woven fabric, cleaned and waxed in our workshop.
