Very smart little walnut chest on chest c.1930. Just 27″ wide, in two pieces with seven drawers of graduated depth plus a dressing slide to the top of the lower chest. Serpentine fronted with crossbanded burr walnut drawer fronts with original brass handles, flanked by canted corners carved with a blind fretwork detail. Raised on tall shaped bracket feet. Oak drawer linings and a maker’s labels for Wolfe’s of Birkenhead to each piece. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
