Walnut and Herringbone Inlaid Bookcase circa 1900'
A antique walnut and herringbone inlaid two door bookcase dating from the 1900's with astrical glazed doors. This two door bookcase is walnut veneered with herringbone inlay which was always a sign of quality.
Having a moulded cornice over two delightful astrical glazed walnut veneer doors which open to reveal the original cream paint work and three adjustable shelves below which sit two oak lined hand cut dovetailed drawers with brass fretted handles and a herringbone inlay.
The lower section has two figure walnut doors again with herringbone inlay which open to reveal useful storage with a dividing shelve that can be removed if wished.
Standing on ogee bracket feet this impressive bookcase is fully restored with a lovely honey colour that splits into two sections for ease of transport.
