Superb equestrian group/figurine designed by Dr Albin Dobrich for the Vienna Augarten factory during his time there between 1924 and 1930. He designed a series of figures of horses in dressage exercises and training, the horses being the famous Lipizzaners from the Spanish Riding School. The porcelain is extremely white, a quality for which the Vienna factory is famous and the modelling is superb. This group would have been technically very difficult to make and fortunately and almost surprisingly has survived in excellent condition. Approximately 24cms high. Currently my internet shop is closed for holidays. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
