Victorian Walnut Windout Extending Dining Table
Antique Victorian C1900 light walnut windout extending dining table ~ 6' x 4'.
A lovely table dating from C1900. Slightly wider than most 6' antique tables (great for serving dishes).
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive, the top is a magnificent light walnut colour with bags of age and patina, but nothing unsightly.
Magnificent turned legs, terminating in period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
A beautiful large table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
The mechanism works as it should, together with a period handle.
No woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 119cmW x 183cmL (including one 43cm leaf) x 76cmH (62cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Some historic cracking to the top, but this is all stable, well glued and to be expected (adds to authenticity as well). The legs have been professionally extended (hard to spot and gives an ideal height for modern dining) historically.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide strong able bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
