A late Victorian walnut washstand with strong Art Nouveau overtones in the tile design and fretted back supports. Although very attractive and a good utilitarian piece, what really sets this washstand apart is the exceptional condition. To survive over 100 years in this untouched state would strongly suggest it has spent its life in a spare bedroom and placed in a position which attracted little or no sunlight and yet still regularly cleaned. With cupboards and a marble surface these pieces make great little drinks cabinets. Free UK mainland delivery on this piece.
