A late Victorian freestanding walnut pedestal desk, the nine graduated drawers retaining the original pierced brass handles and locks with mahogany linings and dovetailed joints. The moulded edge top with a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling. The stiles with shallow reeding and standing on offset plinths with hidden casters. Condition- Very good and ready for the home or office with working locks and keys, transports in 3 pieces. Sizes:- Height...30''/ 76cm. Width...54''/ 137cm. Depth...28''/ 71cm.
