Outstanding Victorian bookcase/ display cabinet in solid walnut in excellent condition with only minor marks / scuffs in line with age and use. It's top has amazing burr walnut veneers with superb graining under this is a frieze with foliate and delicate string inlay. There is an attractive Gilted strip running around the bottom of the frieze which sits above two glazed doors edged by Gilted beading. The doors open to reveal two removable string inlaid faced shelf with velvet inserts and comes with working lock and key. This is a very attractive item and is a great size that will display your books or treasures with style.
