A lovely Tunbridge ware thread waxer and pin cushion dating to around 1870. As can be seen in the photos, this is in great condition. The unusual design is of the Union Jack which I have not seen before. The fixed spool is nice and tight and the waxer stands straight. The cushion has been recovered with velvet. The item stands 4cm in height and has a diameter of 2.6cm at the base.
