This antique stoneware flagon has a nice shape and colour with a glazed finish. It has a decorative plaque which reads 'T. Biggs Leiceseter 2 gall'. It has a single handle at the top. We believe to date from the mid-nineteenth century.

Condition: Overall in good condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing flaws and runs in the glaze as might be expected. There is some flaking to the glaze in places, including to the handle.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
