Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Cow Creamer
Utterly charming Staffordshire pottery cow creamer dating from c.1840. Typical stance standing on a base with moulded flower and leaf design and painted with yellow and iron red. The cow is sponge decorated with yellow and black. He has gilded horns and a peach nose. The base has "4" and "W" incised.
It measures 6 3/4" long, 3 1/4" wide and 5" high. Condition is very good with no damage and light surface wear for age. The stopper is a tiny bit short of the hole so possibly a replacement but ceramic, not restored, and decorated to match so probably original and just not a great fit.
Christmas Posting we are posting up until Monday 23rd December!
