A charming and unusual antique Victorian footstool in walnut, dating from around the 1860-1880 period.

This is very well made and has a low and long design & sits on bold turned feet. The drop in seat is beautifully upholstered in original hand stitched needlepoint fabric. The fabric is in great condition with only some minor wear to be seen, so we have left it as is. The drop in seat lifts in and out easily, so would be extremely easy to upholster if desired.

The solid walnut frame is in excellent original condition with only some light surface wear here and there, we have recently had this re-polished.
