Victorian Shop Bow Front Glass Display Cabinet

Details This is a super Mahogany bow fronted glass shop display cabinet, the cabinet dates from approx. 1880 making it late Victorian.
The cabinet has boxwood and mahogany inlay box design to the top cornice. The cabinet has two opening back doors with working lock and key, with brass catches and hinges. The cabinet. Has two glass shelves one slightly smaller than the other (see sizes) these sit on decorative substantial adjustable shelving cast brackets. The cabinet has glass to the top the bow front glass and both sides are covered with Madico Film which both protects and strengthens the glass this film meets British Standards. The cabinet stands on four cabriole legs each having adjustable brass feet showing the true quality of this cabinet. The cabinet has a hessian type material to the base which could easily be covered if require.
Condition The cabinet is in super condition with only minor bumps and bruises all to be expected of such a piece of furniture of this age. There is a little bit of veneer missing on the back right hand top corner of the cabinet its position making not obvious. One of the glass shelves has a small chip on the front right hand corner but this is mostly hidden by the corner structure to the cabinet, both shelves have very, very minor nibbles again to be expected.
