Victorian Scrub Top Table & 8 Chairs
This Victorian pine scrub top table is one of our magnificent Victorian pine antique tables that we currently have in stock.
This particular table has 1.5″ thick top and a traditional scrub top finish this is common of the Victorian period where tables were traditionally cleaned using bleach and hot soapy water.
Our Victorian pine table stands on four large turned tapering legs, which are all hand waxed in a traditional antique brown finish. We have accompanied this large Victorian pine table with a set of eight traditional chapel chairs with solid elm seats from our extensive stock of vintage chapel chairs. Both table and chairs are 100% original. As you can see from the last photograph, this table is capable of seating up to ten people, with two at each end. The table is in magnificent condition with no loose joints, and would be ideal for any large farmhouse interior or country kitchen.
