Victorian Scottish Chest Of Drawers
An impressive Victorian Scottish chest of drawers, masterfully crafted from solid mahogany and adorned with beautifully figured flame mahogany veneers. The roll-front frieze conceals a ''secret'' drawer, accompanied by a deep drawer beneath and three graduating drawers, fitted with charming wooden knobs and flanked by beautifully carved columns.
Each drawer glides smoothly on dovetail construction, a testament to its fine craftsmanship. The chest stands proudly on four tall and graceful bun feet, which lend it both stability and style. As with all antique furniture, there are minor imperfections that speak to its history, yet it remains structurally sound and captivatingly beautiful. Its rich finish, warm patina, and exquisite wood grain highlight the exceptional quality and character of this remarkable piece.
