Fabulous satinwood side table from the fantastic Victorian era in excellent condition. The serpentine shaped top has a beautiful brass moulded edge is decorated in stunning rosewood marquetry inlay with a mahogany oval centre depicting a basket of flowers, this lifts to reveals a rosewood interior and engraved brass hardware. The rosewood marquetry continues around the shaped frieze having a single drawer with ormolu mount in the centre. The table is raised on elegant brass edged cabriole legs with more detailed ormolu to the hip and terminating in decorative sabots. The superb quality and condition of this little table shows true Victorian craftsmanship. The size of this little table enables it to be placed beside a sofa, a chair or between doors. An extremely attractive table in excellent condition that will bring real elegance to any home.
