A good quality, eye-catching, satinwood chest of drawers C1880 with darker accents to the drawers, sides and fronts and with curved moulding to the edges.

We have a drawer configuration of 2 to the top with 3 graduated drawers below. The deep plinth and pillared top are again accented with a darker wood – all very attractive.

Workshop report – the chest is firm with no wobbles or sways. We do have age marks to the piece but nothing nasty or out of the ordinary for a Victorian piece. All drawers are running well and we have waxed the runners. We do have a chip on one of the lower knobs and a piece of darker wood missing on one of the drawers again, not a huge problem or too ugly. We would assume that the top has been refinished at some point. We have ensured the chest is clean and ready for placing.

A jolly fine-looking chest of drawers which would slot into numerous spaces.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
