Victorian Rosewood & Inlaid Armchair
A magnificent antique late Victorian Rosewood and inlaid low armchair. A really good quality chair, in beautifully figured rosewood, it has a craved and pierced back, extensively inlaid with neoclassical inlay of swan and urns. It has shaped arm supports and stands on cabriole legs. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is sound (sprung) in a cream self-pattern brocade. Quite a low chair, so would make a wonderful bedroom or dressing table chair. Dating from circa 1890.
