A very theatrical pair of French Gilt and red velvet upholstered chairs - which would be perfect for film or stage. The chairs have much decorative detail to the frame and if re-upholstered, would provide a stunning statement for a foyer in a hotel or similar. They would look equally well in a hallway or entrance. The arms of the chair are unusual as they have been carved to invert towards the sitter.
