Here is an example of good quality antique early Victorian galleried pine chest of drawers, circa 1840, in excellent original condition. The chest features an elegant gallery featuring scrolls ends and an upper display shelf above a flat top. The style of the gallery denotes that this is an early Victorian chest with some infuence from the earlier William IV period (such as the scroll ends). The chest was built using a two over three-drawer design. The drawers are finished with a cushion front and they boast the original turned pine knobs. All drawers are in excellent working order and are clean inside. There is plenty of useful storage space. The chest is constructed of solid pine and features hand-dovetailed drawer.
