A Victorian two over four pine chest of drawers dating around 1890.

If you are looking for perfection then this is not for you.
If you a looking for a chest of drawers full of character then you have found it!

This had been previously glossed in pink and yellow back in the 1960's. We have stripped by hand all layers of paint and then waxed. There are still some slight traces here and there of it's original duck egg blue paint.

The chest has a moulded edge to the top and stands on a sturdy pine plinth, it has two short drawers at the top and four longer graduated drawers beneath, the drawers have original ceramic knobs and most brass escutcheons.

This chest of drawers is very good quality, it is heavy and in good condition with no loose joints or sign of worm. There is an old split running across the top that is stable (see photographs for more detail). The two bottom knobs have chips to the edge.
