A STUNNING LARGE SCALE PANORAMIC LANDSCAPE OIL ON CANVAS PAINTING, DEPICTING A PROFESSIONALLY EXECUTED
VIEW OF THE CONWAY VALLEY WALES,WITH RIVER TRIBUTARY SNAKING THROUGH THE LUSH GREEN PASTURAL VALLEY,HAVING DISTANT HEAPS OF CUT HAY DRYING OUT IN THE FIELDS.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Julius Hare RCA (23 January 1859 – 12 March 1932) was a British artist, painter of portraits and landscapes.[1]
Born in Dublin, he was the son of Mathias Hare LLD. He was educated at Loughborough Grammar School in England before Studied under Adolphe Yvon of Paris, and also at the West London School of Art, South Kensington, and the Heatherley School of Fine Art. He was made an associate of the Royal Academy of Art and exhibited there.
He lived in Plas Mawr, Conway, North Wales.
SIGNATURE
A good clear signature of reknowned artist
" Julius Hare " with a less visable date underneath the artists name,which after close examination appears to show the date 1849.
The magnificent scale of this fine oil on canvas painting is all to the good in capturing good perspective and depth achieved as the eye follows the river into the detailed background,with distant hills and rocky outcrops painted very finely.

Height 43 Inches (3ft.7 Inches)
Width 63.5 Inches (5ft.3.5 Inches)
DATE Circa 1849
CONDITION
Lovely overall condition throughout comensurate with age,having signs of an earlier relining with a light clean and careful revarnish.
Still having vibrant colours and a wealth of detail.
FRAME
Original early Victorian period plaster and gilded frame,having cast detail .
REGILDING
The frame is being regilded in a rich and vibrant GENUINE GOLD LEAF,although the images in this advert are all pre-restoration.
The results when completed will be stunning as the basic frame is in excellent solid condition.
