These are a very good pair of Victorian bedside cabinets. They are made in solid mahogany and are early Victorian, dating to about 1850. The bedside cabinets have deep shaped tops. The doors have recessed panels with flame mahogany fronts and they stand on original turned feet. Inside, the cabinets are shelved and the shelves have reeded leading edges.

The cabinets have interesting original brass latches with brass buttons on the side. (One is a little sticky). The cabinets are well polished with no sign of worm or damage.

These are a very good pair of period bedside cabinets. The design is more Georgian than Victorian in that they are very simple and uncluttered and and very elegant for that. They will look good in any period bedroom setting.

Each bedside is 21.6 inches deep and 14.5 inches wide and 27 inches high.
