Victorian Oak Tavern Bench
A Victorian oak tavern bench. This bench could have a number of uses including window seat. It is all in solid oak with six well turned splayed legs. All the legs are joined by a stretcher and the under frame has a nice moulded edge. The top is of two pieces with a thumb moulded edge. All of the joints are of peg form. The overall colour is what you expect from this type of bench, dark base with golden polished top.
This is traditional well made piece, in it's design dates back to 17th century.
