Victorian Oak Open Bookcase Shelves Display
Antique large Victorian oak open bookcase.
Dates from the late 19th or early 20th Century and has a lovely mid to dark oak colour. In an earlier Georgian style.
Oak body, softwood shelves with oak facings and a plywood back (possibly later).
This is a lovely piece, which is solid, with no loose joints. No woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location, with very simple styling.
Overall maximum dimensions 168cmW x 25.5cmD x 100cmH.
Fixed shelves 158cmW x 22cmD (30cm high space above bottom shelf, 25cm above the middle shelf and 27cm above the top).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections and alterations as is always the way and to be expected.
Please note that this item is large and heavy (one piece). Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying. .
