This is an English, antique, Victorian writing table dating to c.1870.

Raised on generous turned, tapered and reeded legs terminating in ball feet, the frieze features recessed panel ends and a finished back – ideal for centre room positioning if required. The front offers twin drawers each dressed with a pair of turned pulls.

The top displays wonderful colour and graining with a bold edge moulding. This writing table makes a viable alternative to the heavier pedestal desks with the height of this piece an added advantage.
