Victorian Mahogany Windout Dining Table Extending
Antique Victorian mahogany (or possibly red walnut) windout extending dining table.
A lovely table dating from C1880. Slightly wider than most 6' antique tables (great for serving dishes).
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive, the top is in good condition.
Turned, carved and fluted legs, terminating in period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
A beautiful table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
The mechanism works freely and the table has a period winding handle.
No woodworm (just a few treated holes in the handle).
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 113cmW x 183cmL (including one 57cm leaf) x 71cmH (58cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Two extra redundant 1/2" holes in the winding end.
