Victorian Mahogany Wind Out Extending Dining Table
Antique large Victorian 19C mahogany wind out dining table which is approximately 7 feet long with the two extension leaves installed.
A lovely table dating from the mid 19th Century.
This is a quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive.
Sought after melon fluted legs, terminating in period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
The table is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
Winding mechanism works as it should and there is a period handle.
No significant woodworm.
Lovely patina and colour, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 106cmW x 208cmL (including 34.5 and 36.5cm extension leaves) x 71cmH (58cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is some historic scuffing to the legs (from dining chairs as one might expect) and one leg has an old crack, that is well glued and very strong.
