Victorian mahogany walnut 19C writing table desk
Antique Victorian mahogany (possibly red walnut) late 19th Century writing table desk.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints and no significant woodworm.
An attractive piece with carving to the drawers and front legs.
Substantial heavy turned legs on period ceramic and brass castors.
The leather top is a later replacement.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 122.5cmW x 51.5cmD x 72cmH (59cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. The drawer linings appear to have been replaced, but they are solid and slide freely.
