Superb mahogany double gate leg Sutherland table from the fantastic Victorian era in excellent antique condition. Fabulous solid leaves with a thumb moulded edge sit over 4 elegant turned legs united by a beautifully turned hinged stretchers (an unusual design detail). It is of excellent quality and of neat proportion with a fantastic mahogany top. Both leaves are supported by a gate-leg that can be used together or separately. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections however it is of solid construction with a gorgeous rich colour and patina. Ideal for a small property, makes a useful supper table that folds down to a very narrow profile when not in use.
