Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Desk.
A good Victorian figured mahogany freestanding 3 part pedestal desk. The rectangular shaped top having a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The cross banded and thumb moulded edge above a wide centre drawer flanked by 2 banks of 4 drawers all having mahogany linings, cockbeading, brass ring pull handles and escutcheons. Raised on plinth bases with hidden casters. The desk has brass locks with working keys except the bottom drawer of each pedestal which do not work. Condition- Ready for use in the home or office with bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…30.75’’/ 78cm. Width…48’’/ 122cm. Depth…29’’/ 74cm. Kneehole Height…24.5’’/ 62cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £60.
